सूर्यादपि महान्

कस्यचन मूर्खस्य सिद्धान्तः-- चन्द्रः सूर्यादपि महान्। यतो हि सः रात्रौ कान्तिं प्रसारयति, यदा प्रकाशः अत्यन्तं आवश्यकः भवति। सूर्यस्तु दिने प्रकाशते, यदा प्रकाशस्य आवश्यकता एव न भवति।

A crack’s theory-- Moon is greater than Sun. Moon gives light during night-time when there is no light around; whereas Sun gives light when it is not needed at all!!
